For schools & trusts

Keep learners in school — and keep them learning

When a pupil is at risk of exclusion or already out of mainstream lessons, the usual answer is an external placement: expensive, off-site and hard to evidence. MIAG gives schools a structured on-site alternative.

  • Flexible packages by term or half term — scale up or down as the pupil needs
  • Maths, English, financial literacy and independent living in one programme
  • Designed to cost a fraction of a typical alternative provision placement

The problem

Alternative provision is costly, and the learning often stops

External placements can run to hundreds of pounds a day, take pupils off-site and away from their peers, and frequently deliver little verifiable curriculum progress. Schools still carry the accountability for outcomes they cannot see.

Meanwhile, the pupils most likely to end up in that pipeline are exactly the ones who need consistent, patient, well-structured teaching the most.

Our approach

How MIAG solves it

Structured teaching, on your site

Pupils work through curriculum-aligned maths and English plus £Smart Start financial literacy and Foundations for Life, each lesson taught by an avatar tutor to the I Do, We Do, You Do model — supervised by your staff, on your premises.

Packages that flex with the pupil

Commission by half term or term. Use MIAG as a short reset alongside mainstream lessons, or as the core timetable for a managed intervention — and adjust as the pupil re-engages.

Evidence you can put in front of anyone

Every activity is tracked per pupil. You get engagement, completion and assessment data that stands up with parents, governors and the local authority.
